Green Smoothie Bowl





Ingredients:

SMOOTHIE

1/4 ripe avocado
2 medium ripe bananas, previously sliced and frozen
1 cup fresh or frozen mixed berries
2 large handfuls spinach
1 small handful kale
1 1/2 - 2 cups unsweetened non-dairy milk
1 Tbsp flax seed meal

Optional: 2 Tbsp salted creamy almond or peanut butter

TOPPINGS

Roasted unsalted sunflower seeds
Granola
Raw or roasted nuts
Shredded unsweetened coconut
Fresh berries
Hemp seeds

Procedure:

In a blender add all the ingredients and blend till smooth, you may add in almond milk or water to think out. Consistency depends on your liking.

Adjust the flavor according to your preferences too, add more maple syrup if you need more sweetness or you can also use bananas for that. You may use more kale or spinach to adjust the color green in your smoothie bowl.
Try out different amounts of fruits if you like to test out different colors, it'll be fun and healthy!
Then add in your toppings of choice. Yum!
Best when fresh, though leftovers can be kept in jars in the fridge for up to 1-2 days.
