Breakfast Baked Apples



Ingredients:

2 cups steel oats or old-fashioned oats
3 cups water
2 tbsp. maple syrup
1 tbsp. ground cinnamon
4 large baking apples, slice the top and hallowed (insides removed)
2 tbsp. dried cranberries
2 tbsp. chopped pecans or almonds if you prefer

Method:

Prepare your oven to 400 degrees F and in a medium saucepan, medium low heat, add in the oatmeal and water and stir it occasionally until it's cooked and creamy. Add in maple syrup and ground cinnamon. Turn it off and let it cool down.

Place your apples in a baking dish, scoop in the oatmeal mixture.

Bake the apples until they are soft and bubbly for about 20-30 minutes.

Top with the berries and pecans! Enjoy.
