Clean Eating Meatballs






A tasty meatball recipe that’s also clean, healthy and downright delicious? The clean eating recipe for today hits the right spot. This recipe is so convenient that it is so ideal during winter season and even if you don’t have a crock, you may place it in a baking dish and bake it in the oven!

Here’s what you need:

1 lb. ground turkey meat
2 tbsp. almond flour
1 tbsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. onion powder
2 tsp. Italian seasoning
½ medium yellow onion, minced
1 egg
18 oz. jar marinara with no sugar added


What to do:

Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and knead with your hands (that’s the fun part right?) until well combined.

Form the meatballs then place them at the bottom of the crock. Then top it with the marinara sauce and cook it on low for 3-4 hours or until the meatballs are tender and cooked to your liking.

Then serve it over your favourite bread, or on top of your fave pasta OR eat it as it is with some cheese on top or freshly chopped basil! (I go for the basil, they smell awesome!)
