<li>2-3 tsp nut butter of choice (almond butter for me)</li>
<li>1/4 cup flaxmeal whisked into 1/3 cup of water</li>
<li>1/2 tbsp bourbon or 1 additional tbsp of water</li>
<li>1 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract</li>
<li>1/2 tsp salt</li>
<li>optional: chocolate chips, nutmeg and more pecans for toppings</li>

For this recipe you may opt to use store bought crust or make your own healthy variation :)<br />
For this recipe, I use my own recipe of wheat flour, salt, coconut oil and water, I mix it all. Stir till it forms a dough. When working on it, if you feel like it's a bit too dry you may add more water or oil or if it's the opposite, add a bit more flour. Press into pie dish, bake for 10 minutes at 400 F.<br />

Now for the filling, mix all together except the toppings. Let it rest inside the refrigerator for atleast 30 minutes. It will thicken due to the flaxmeal. Pour into the crust. Top with chocolate chips or more pecans. Bake for atleast 35 minutes. Then turn off from the oven and let it sit inside the turned-off oven! Mix all of the seasonings and sprinkle all over carrots. Make sure it is tossed and covered well with the seasoning. Then arrange the carrots in a baking pan. Do you want to balance out the sweets and healthy food this Halloween? You can start by creating these healthy stuffed bell peppers!<br />
<br />
Ingredients:<br />
<br />
2 chicken breasts<br />
1 tsp cumin<br />
1 tsp garlic salt<br />
1 tsp chili powder<br />
1/2 tsp black pepper<br />
1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies<br />
<br />
stuffing:<br />
Bell Peppers of your choice<br />
2 cups Mexican rice<br />
shredded cheese<br />
1 can black beans (rinsed and drained)<br />
<br />
Method:<br />
<br />
1. Prepare your slow cooker, add the chicken at the bottom of the slow cooker and sprinkle the seasonings on top of it. Then cover with the tomatoes. Cook for 6-8 hours (perfect to do this in the morning if you wll be serving it at by late afternoon or night!)<br />
<br />
2. Shred the chicken and mix it with the sauce it created inside the slow cooker.<br />
<br />
3. Boil water and while you are waiting for it to boil, clean the bell peppers, cutting the top for a lid. You may cut face like Jack-o-Lantern and once ready, add in the boiling water till tender. Once tender, remove and set it aside.<br />
<br />
4. Cook the rice according to directions. Once cooked, mix the rice, shredded chicken, cheese and black beans and scoop inside the bell pepper. Then bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes! Serve and enjoy.<br />

<li>1 tsp dried sage leaves</li>

<li>9 no-cook lasagna noodles</li>
<li>1 cup reduced-fat ricotta cheese</li>
<li>1 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese</li>
<li>3/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese</li>

1. In a small pan, saute the mushrooms and onion, salt in oil. When it is tender, set aside.</div>

2. Then in a small bowl, combine the pumpkin, sage, cream, salt and pepper.</div>

3. Prepare the baking dish and add 1/2 cup of the pumpkin sauce in it and coat the bottom. Top with the 3 noodles. Then add some more sauce on top, add mushrooms, the cheeses (layer it). Then repeat till all is added. </div>

4. Cover and bake for around 45 minutes. Then add some more cheese on top then bake for a few minutes till the cheese on top is melted. Let it sit for 10 minutes after that and enjoy! :) </div>

3. Let it bake for 20 minutes. Once baked it may look a bit underdone but you need to let it rest for atleast an hour and it will firm up after.<br />

1 and 1/2 cups raw cashews<br />
1 cup almond milk, unsweetened<br />
2 tbsp olive oil<br />
3/4 cup maple syrup<br />
1/3 cup brown sugar<br />

1 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice<br />

1. Prepare your churning bowl a night before to chill. Also prepare your cashews the night before as well before blending.<br />
2. Once cashews are soaked, drained, add in the blender together with the rest of the ice cream ingredients and blend till creamy and smooth. Usually it takes 4 minutes to do so.<br />
3. Add the mixture to the chilled ice cream maker and churn it following the ice cream machine's instructions until chilled.<br />
4. Transfer to a freezer-safe container and freeze for atleast 6 hours or overnight.<br />
5. Take it out of the freezer, let it rest to thaw before serving to soften. Yum!! Serve with the roasted pecans on top.<br />

1. To get coconut cream, leave a can full of fat coconut milk overnight in refrigerator and by morning you can carefully scoop out the coconut cream from it.<br />
2. Then in a bowl, add in all ingredients then using a mixer, cream it till fluffy!<br />
3. Taste it to make sure sweetness is according to your liking or add more spice to it if you like it with more of a kick.<br />
4. In a mason jar, add pecans and pumpkin seeds. Top with mousse on top. Then on top you may add a scoop of coconut whipped cream and spinkle more pecans with dusts of cinnamon! Yum :)<br />

Ingredients:<br />

1/4 cup unsalted butter (cut into smaller pieces)<br />
1/4 cup maple syrup<br />
4 large egg yolks<br />
2 large eggs<br />
2/3 lemon juice<br />
1 tbsp finely grated lemon zest<br />

Method:<br />
<br />
1. In a bowl, beat the butter and maple syrup till light and fluff.<br />
2. Add in the eggs slowly.<br />
3. Add in the juice and add the bowl over a pan of boiling water or use a double boiler for this if easier.<br />
4. Cook over medium heat. Mix consistently till the mixture has thickened like thickness of a pudding. Pour over a jar and store!<br />

1. In a food processor or hi-speed blender add in coconut milk, frozen mangoes and maple syrup and process till it is very creamy like a soft-served ice cream. Scoop it into serving dishes.<br />
2. For the sauce - you may puree the ingredients all together in a food processor (you may do this beforehand) then add on top of the ice cream when serving. 5 tbsp of stevia powder<br />
1/2 tsp baking soda<br />
1/4 tsp salt<br />
2-3 tbsp of squeezed lemon<br />

1. Preheat and prepare over to 350 F<br />

4. Prepare your cookie sheets, using a spoon or using your hands, form the dough into 1-2 inch balls then flatten the cookies in the baking sheet.<br />

1/4 ripe avocado<br />
2 medium ripe bananas, frozen<br />
1 cup fresh or frozen berries, for greener smoothie use strawberries/raspberries<br />
2 large handfuls of spinach<br />
1 small handful of kale<br />
1 1/2 - 2 cups of unsweetened almond milk<br />
1 tbsp flaxseed meal<br />

fruits of choice (mangoes, berries)<br />
nuts (roasted or raw)<br />

<b>Method:</b><br />

1. Add all smoothie ingredients in a blender and blend till smooth and creamy. You may add in more almond milk to make the consistency either thick or thin, depending on your liking. It is better to add the almond milk slowly to see the consistency that you prefer.<br />
2. Taste and adjust the flavors too as needed, if you want to sweeten it more add bananas and brighten it to green by addming more spinach.<br />
3. Add in the berries and nuts on top and enjoy!<br />

1. Get the can of coconut milk that was left overnight in the refrigerator, once you open it you will see the cream separated from the liquid. Pour off the liquid. Scoop the coconut cream and add into a bowl and whip it to the consistency of a whipped cream. Add in vanilla and maple syrup.</div>

2. In a bowl, mash in 1 cup of the raspberries and fold in half of the whipped coconut cream. </div>

3. Get a parfait glass then layer in the raspberry mixture, raspberries then blackberries then add the remaining coconut cream. You may garnish it with some more berries on top. Serve and enjoy! </div>
